2. Description of the Service

SoundSurf is a gamified learning platform designed for music producers.

The Service may include:

  • Structured lessons and production tasks
  • Knowledge quizzes
  • XP, ranking systems, and badges
  • Preset uploads and sharing
  • Messaging between users
  • Subscription-based premium features

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
  • Harass or abuse other users
  • Attempt to manipulate XP, rankings, or gamification systems
  • Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities
  • Reverse-engineer or copy platform systems
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes

Violation may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

5. User-Generated Content

Users may upload content including presets, profile images, and messages (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content.

However, by uploading content, you grant SoundSurf a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute such content within the platform for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights.

SoundSurf reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Presets & Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of presets they create and upload.

SoundSurf does not claim ownership over user-created presets.

However:

  • You must not upload presets that infringe copyrights or proprietary rights.
  • SoundSurf is not responsible for how other users use shared presets.

All platform design, branding, structure, and proprietary systems remain the intellectual property of SoundSurf.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

Premium features may require a paid subscription.

Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
SoundSurf does not store payment card information.

Unless required by law:

  • Payments are non-refundable.
  • Subscription fees may change with prior notice.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to premium features will remain active until the end of the billing period.

8. Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer

SoundSurf may use artificial intelligence technologies to generate educational content, structured tasks, lesson materials, and other platform-related content.

AI-generated content is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is:

  • Error-free
  • Complete
  • Suitable for specific professional or technical needs

Users remain responsible for verifying creative and technical decisions based on AI-generated materials.

SoundSurf does not use AI systems to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning users.

9. Platform Availability

We aim to maintain continuous platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We are not liable for:

  • Downtime
  • Technical interruptions
  • Data loss
  • Third-party infrastructure failures

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoundSurf shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of data
  • User-generated content
  • Misuse of shared presets

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent behavior
  • Manipulate platform systems
  • Harm other users or the platform

Any disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of Italy.
